Technical Resource Centre

The Technical Resource Centre is responsible for the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences information technology requirements. The TRC is responsible for maintaining the current IT environment and supporting the users of this environment. The TRC also liaises with the University IT department (ITS) and external IT vendors to provide a range of IT and AV services and solutions to the faculty.

VIRUS ALERT
ITS has received reports that there are malicious emails currently in circulation that purport to be news broadcasts with subject lines such as

  "Current Australia's Prime Minister survived a hear attack"
  "The life of the Prime Minister is in grave danger"
  "Prime Minister survived a heard attack"

These emails are bogus and contain links to web sites that have the potential to install malicious trojan files onto your computer, most likely without you being aware of it... More >>
