Preventing and fixing keychain issues
PREVENTION OF KEYCHAIN ISSUES
UNSW Mac’s use Active Directory for logins (also know as AD). This allows you to login with your zPASS credentials. When you change your zPASS password, any Mac you have logged into before will prompt you to update your keychain the first time you log in with your new password.
To prevent keychain issues from occurring please ensure you choose “Create New Keychain” when the below dialog appears.
This will reset your Keychain password to your current zPass. You will lose any saved passwords in Safari – although Chrome and Firefox store passwords separately and so will not be affected.
Multiple prompts for your password may indicate an issue with your Keychain
RESOLVING KEYCHAIN ISSUES
