How do I get a second monitor for my computer?
Faculty policy is to provide staff with one monitor. A standard monitor size for a Windows PCs is 23”, the standard monitor size for an Apple desktop computer is 21.5”. Any additional monitors are provided based on what we happen to have on hand, which is usually 19” monitors. If that secondary monitor requires technical support after installation, log a ticket with the Servicedesk as usual, either by emailing itservicecentre@unsw.edu.au or calling extension 51333. The desktop support team will then determine the appropriate course of action. Should it require replacement by TRC, again we will do so if we happen to have a replacement on hand.
