Moodle course rollover using import
Important: To successfully complete this process you must be an instructor in both the original course (where the content already exists), and the new course (where you want the content to appear). If you aren't please log a ticket with the IT Service Centre and ask that they escalate the request to the ARTS Queue.
- Login to Moodle and enter the course site;
- Locate the Settings Block on the left-hand side, and within Course Administration, click on Import;
- Locate your course in the list onscreen or by using the search field. Click the radio button beside the course you wish to import and click Continue;
- On the Back-Up Settings page, leave everything unchanged and click Next;
- On the Include page, ensure all content you wish to import is selected and untick anything you don't want. Then click Next;
- Review the import settings on the confirmation page to ensure everything you want is included, then click Perform Import;
- The following screen will display the status of the import. When the import is complete click Continue to return to your course.
